Roy "Futureman" Wooten in Concert at the Museum of Mobile
Roy “Futureman” Wooten and the Black Mozart Ensemble will perform downtown at the Museum of Mobile on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 7 p.m..
Wooten was in Mobile recently with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones and visited the Museum. The group plays a fusion of music that will appeal to fans of classical and jazz with a little bluegrass and hiphop thrown in to keep it interesting to a wide variety of listeners.
General admission is $10 and $5 for Museum of Mobile members. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Reservations may be made by calling 208-7419. The public is encouraged to arrive early to visit the exhibit “Captive Passage” prior to the concert.
